Making Great Images An Experience For Everybody.

WELCOME TO

Te Awamutu Camera Club

A Club for those who like to share their images in friendly, sociable surroundings with others with the same goals.

We are a group of enthusiastic photographers meeting on the third Tuesday of each month, and anyone with a passion for photography is most welcome to attend. We meet at the Te Awamutu Croquet Club rooms on Bank St, at 7:30pm and the first couple of meetings are free so come along and see if our club is for you.

The club was established in 1954 as the Te Awamutu Amateur Movie Club but has undergone a number of changes over the years as technology evolved, the name was changed to the Te Awamutu Camera club in 1978.

Our Yearly Programme

Every month members can submit up to two set subject and two open images, either digital or prints into the monthly competition. The images are sent away and critiqued by PSNZ trainee judges, then both points and feedback are give for each image at the next club meeting to assist us to grow and learn our craft.

All members are graded to give members of different experience an even chance at the end of the year competition.
